Meet the Owner,
Josh GoldAt Gold Star Mechanical, our leadership is driven by a deep commitment to service and community. Our owner, Josh Gold, is a passionate advocate for helping others and making a positive impact wherever he goes.
Josh is one of 15 kids and has been working in the HVAC industry since he was 15 years old. He worked his way up from helper to lead technician at a large company in the city before building Gold Star Mechanical.
With 5 years of service in the fire department, his desire to lend a helping hand extends beyond the workplace, as he actively serves his community in times of need. For Josh, stepping in during an emergency isn’t just a duty. It’s a calling.
His proactive approach reflects his belief in taking action and making a difference. Under Josh’s leadership, Gold Star Mechanical continues to embody the values of trust, integrity, and giving back to the community.
Day-to-day operations are led by our CEO, Dan Shuman, who makes sure every job runs on time, every customer gets clear answers, and Josh’s standards carry through to every service call.

Thursday 4.16 it was time to open the AC for the first time this season. In a new place the AC didn’t turn on. I called Josh, while getting a hair cut he tried to troubleshoot the issue in order to save me money, which was extremely kind of him. He did end up having to come in person. With his great energy my HVAC was up and running. Highly recommend

These guys are the best!! Weather got hot very early and my AC wasn't working. I called them and they came the same day and didn't leave until the job was complete and my AC was working again. I highly recommend these professionals!!
